Speaking at the ceremony, VNU President Le Quan emphasized: Dr. Le Tu Minh, as a former student of VNU, has been making many contributions to the IMG Vietnam Talent Lighting Scholarship Fund for Vietnamese talents, and is a prestigious and successful businessman. The Medal for Development - a noble title of VNU awarded to him as a recognition and sincere thanks for his attachment and companionship with VNU over the past time. And also the belief and hope that he will continue to join hands in building VNU in the future, especially in the position of the Executive Board of the Entrepreneurs Club.

It can be said that Dr. Le Tu Minh is a great example of the combination of a scientist, a businessman and a social activist with significant contributions to Vietnam in general and VNU in particular.

The sponsorship by IMG, through the VNU Development Fund, is to award prizes to 02 excellent students and 02 outstanding lecturers every year. The prize level in the first year is 300 million and 150 million VND.

VNU expects that in the coming years, the value of the prize for the honored scientist will be up to 1 billion VND/prize.

Dr. and businessman Le Tu Minh received the Medal "For the development of Vietnam National University, Hanoi" from the leaders of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This will be an annual activity of VNU to recognize, honor, encourage and motivate the academic excellence and efforts of the faculty and students every year. This activity is implemented through funding sources located at the VNU Development Fund, with the pioneering contribution being Dr. Le Tu Minh in particular and IMG in general.

Dr. Le Tu Minh expressed his respect for receiving the VNU Commemorative Medal and felt that the responsibility of each alumni is even greater. He is proud to be an alumni of VNU - the country's leading research training institution and of international stature, the cradle of many top scientists, with many alumni who have grown up and made many contributions to society and the development of the country.

He said that with the consensus between IMG Company and the leaders of VNU, in the coming time, the fund will partly support young talents and excellent teachers working and studying at VNU to have more motivation to promote the inner strength of each student and lecturer, contributing to creating strength for young talents who have many contributions to the country.

He highly appreciated the training of basic sciences at VNU. He shared that these basic sciences have helped him have a solid foundation, a long-term vision, detailed and decisive actions, and a humane heart in all activities of life. He applies basic scientific knowledge to achieve success in business. He believes that with the new direction, focusing on investing and nurturing young talents, focusing on the basic sciences that VNU is implementing, it will somehow change the world and change the country. He committed that from the second year, IMG will sponsor contributions and award scholarships to outstanding young talents, to show gratitude to teachers, the value of the scholarships will be up to 1 billion VND/scholarship.

With IMG's small contribution, it will warm the hearts of teachers, encourage students, and the young generation to have more motivation to grow up in life. Also at the ceremony was the "IMG Award for Outstanding Students of Hanoi National University" in 2022. The IMG Award for Outstanding Students is part of the IMG Scholarship Fund - For the Cause of Education sponsored by IMG Investment Joint Stock Company in the long term: 300 million for the best lecturer, 100 million for the second best lecturer; 150 million for the best student and 50 million for the second best student to encourage lecturers and students to constantly innovate in the learning process; at the same time, aiming at social activities, community activities.

The students could not hide their joy when they were among the faces chosen to receive the IMG scholarship. For them, this is not only a source of pride for being an outstanding student receiving a scholarship but also a great source of financial support for their families, serving their future studies.

Student Ngo Quy Dang - who has achieved excellent results of winning 2 Gold medals and perfect scores at the 2022 International Mathematical Olympiad, received the IMG Award in 2022. He shared that he was very happy and excited to receive the award from Dr. Le Tu Minh, businessman, as well as the IMG scholarship fund. This will be a certificate for his efforts in studying and a source of motivation for his future development.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor Tran Thanh Tu, representative of the Development Fund Club of VNU, received sponsorship from IMG company with a total sponsorship value of 1.1 billion VND.
