Representative of IMG JSC participated in ”Conference on Investment connection”
Investment connection seminar with the participation of leaders of localities such as Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dak Nong, Vinh Long, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, An Giang and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and business associations (USA, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, India, Singapore…).

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Do Nhat Hoang - Director of the Foreign Investment Department (Ministry of Planning and Investment) - said that in 2021, Vietnam's economy will continue to maintain a growth rate of 2.58%. macroeconomic stability, business investment environment continues to be improved. Total import and export turnover increased by 22.6% compared to 2020, reaching a record of 668.5 billion USD, of which exports increased by 19%, reaching 336.25 billion USD. Vietnam has become the third largest economy in ASEAN with a GDP of over 350 billion USD.
According to the Director of the Foreign Investment Agency, the seminar is an opportunity to connect multilaterally between localities and foreign diplomatic agencies and business associations as well as promote FDI into Vietnam in general. and southern provinces in particular.
In the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, international investors trust Vietnam to expand their investment, considering Vietnam as a destination for future plans. Vietnam is committed to always sharing, accompanying and creating all favorable conditions for FDI enterprises to conduct effective, sustainable and long-term business investment in Vietnam.

Information at the seminar, Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen - Director of the Southern Investment Promotion Center (IPCS) - said that in 2022, the center will carry out investment promotion activities and support to bring investment promotion. business delegations went to survey the investment environment in some localities.
Accordingly, IPCS cooperates with the Consulate General of India to develop investment promotion programs, conferences and seminars related to seaports, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and maritime safety assurance with a number of provinces and Southern cities.
In addition, IPCS will also coordinate with the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Organization (KOTRA), the Korean Consulate General to build a program to lead Korean business delegations to a number of localities to survey, as well as conduct surveys. such as exploring investment opportunities in equipment manufacturing plants, industrial parks, etc.
Along with that, IPCS cooperates with the Consulate General of Japan to support Japanese businesses to connect with localities, explore investment opportunities in high-tech agriculture such as closed livestock production chains, trade centers, etc. retail business chain development.
The seminar attracted the attention of leaders of southern provinces, diplomatic missions, and foreign business associations.
