Long An to organize investment promotion mission in Taipei city (Taiwan)
Long An People's Committee organizes a meeting between provincial leaders, diplomatic agencies, associations and businesses in 2023
Regarding the working program, it is expected that the delegation will visit the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, organize a number of investment promotion activities and work directly with Taiwan's major agencies, organizations, associations and corporations in the fields of electricity, electronics, urban areas, port services, logistics, environment, high-tech agriculture, etc.
In particular, during the working program in Taiwan, the delegation will organize Vietnam Investment Environment Conference 2023. The event is expected to be held on March 8, 2023 at the GIS MOTC Convention Center (Taipei City) with the participation of about 120 delegates who are interested businesses seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam in general and Long An in particular.
Currently, Long An has received about 1,160 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 10.1 billion USD. In which, Taiwanese investors have about 180 projects, with registered investment capital of over 1 billion USD, accounting for about 10% of the total FDI invested in the province.
The investment promotion program in Taiwan is in the series of activities under the Investment Promotion Program in 2023 of Long An province; It is expected that after the business trip, Long An will continue to welcome the investment wave of Taiwanese investors to research the market, look for opportunities for cooperation and investment in the province, especially large corporations with high modern technology, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development of the province./.
