IMG participated in the Energy Conference organized by the US Trade Mission to Southeast
Mrs. Pamela Phan, deputy assistant secretary for Asia at the International Trade Administration, US Department of Commerce led the delegation. Accompanying the delegation were the director of the US Trade Development Agency (USTDA) Enoh Ebong and a representative of the US Export-Import Bank. The delegation attended working sessions with senior leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Economic Commission.

During the meetings, Deputy Assistant Minister Pamela Phan also praised Vietnam's decision to participate in a new economic cooperation initiative called "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity". She also discussed US investment priorities and programs in the energy and climate sectors, as well as the importance of securely sharing data across borders.
