Huế xây cầu đi bộ qua sông An Cựu EN

Theo thiết kế, cầu chữ Y nằm ở ngã ba sông Hương và sông An Cựu, nối tuyến đường đi bộ sau lưng Nhà hát sông Hương với đường đi bộ công viên Bùi Thị Xuân. Cầu dành cho người đi bộ và người đi xe đạp, rộng 4,2 m, dài 47,4 m.
Sàn cầu bằng thép, trên lát gỗ lim, lan can sử dụng thanh đồng, phía dưới tàu thuyền có thể qua lại. Trên cầu có chiếu nghỉ để du khách nghỉ ngơi, ngắm cảnh. Độ dốc cầu được thiết kế phù hợp để người khuyết tật, người đạp xe lên xuống thuận lợi.

Sau khi hoàn thành, cầu chữ Y sẽ kết nối tuyến đường đi bộ phía bờ Nam sông Hương từ vị trí nhà hát sông Hương tới công viên Bùi Thị Xuân.
Nhiều năm qua, TP Huế đầu tư hàng trăm tỷ đồng xây dựng đường đi bộ và xe đạp dọc hai bên bờ sông Hương, thu hút người dân đến tập thể dục, ngắm cảnh.
