Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - Former member of the Politburo, Former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government commented that Vietnam and Korea have had more than 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, the relationship between the two countries has made remarkable progress with many important milestones, from Comprehensive Partnership in 2001 to Strategic Partnership in 2009 and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2022. Long An has been and is a very well-developed locality and is moving towards sustainable development. I know that Korea is currently the second country out of nearly 40 countries and territories investing in Long An. I really hope that in the coming time, Long An will receive more attention and investment from Korean friends, contributing to fostering the strong relationship between Korea - Vietnam in general and between Korea and Long An province in particular.

Continuing, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc (Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Long An Province) said that there has actually been a deep "fate" between Vietnam and Korea since the 12th century, when Prince Le Long Tuong of Vietnam immigrated to Korea and later became a talented general in the army, contributing to helping Korea repel foreign invaders. Today, I am very happy and honored to meet distinguished guests from Korea, especially Mr. Kwon Soon Chil, a close brother of mine, as well as of the people of Long An.
On behalf of the leaders of Long An Province, he believes that with the potential and strengths of the province, along with the upcoming projects, Long An will attract more Korean enterprises to invest. Long An will always care, accompany, and create the best conditions for investors and enterprises investing in the province; Provincial leaders will promptly remove difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can feel secure in developing production and business.

In response to the profound sharing from the two leaders of the Government and Long An, Mr. Kwon Soon Chil - Deputy Consul General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City highly appreciated the favorable geographical location, complete traffic infrastructure; especially the development potential of the Port in the coming period. The demand for investment from Korea in Vietnam is very large, we always want to find a locality with a good, stable, effective and long-term investment environment. Korea highly appreciates the strengths and policies in attracting investment of Long An province. In the coming time, I hope that the Provincial Leaders will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions in policies to support Korean enterprises when investing in Long An and at the same time hope to receive the companionship and support of infrastructure investors for Korean investors.
