President meets with delegates of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa

On the afternoon of September 26, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong met with the delegation of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

Attending the meeting were former Vice President Truong My Hoa, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Head of the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. Also attending were 100 delegates who are members of the Fund, the Club, philanthropists, outstanding students who received scholarships from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; representatives of leaders of relevant agencies, departments, branches and organizations.
After 25 years of establishment and operation, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to many outstanding ethnic minority students nationwide; many students have participated in in-depth training projects organized by the Fund, thereby making an important contribution to improving the quality of high-quality human resources for the country.

The projects implemented by the Fund have contributed to the Party and State's investment and development of infrastructure for ethnic minority areas.

During its operation, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has always received the support and practical assistance of agencies, departments, branches, organizations, philanthropists and businesses to continuously develop and expand programs and projects for the community, society and country.

The Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa has carried out many practical activities, connecting the feelings, hearts, and souls of people across the country, contributing their efforts and efforts... to participate in building and protecting Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of the Fatherland.

Speaking at the meeting, the delegates affirmed that the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund model and the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa are the addresses for Vietnamese people at home and abroad to express their feelings and responsibilities towards the country.

Thereby, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing of all classes of people towards ethnic minority students and affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the beloved Fatherland of Vietnam.

The delegates hoped that the support and assistance for ethnic minority students should be implemented more comprehensively and deeply, not only giving scholarships but also helping them to continue studying, training, and taking care of their lives, thereby creating favorable conditions for development and advancement.

This will be an important foundation for ethnic minority students to grow up and contribute their youth and enthusiasm to building their homeland and country.

At the meeting, President Vo Van Thuong expressed his delight at the practical and meaningful results of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa over the past years.

From the initial goal of building a Scholarship Fund for ethnic minority students, the Fund has continuously made new developments, implementing many meaningful activities, programs and projects, demonstrating affection and responsibility towards the country and beloved students.

Stating that the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has been resilient and effective over the past years, President Vo Van Thuong said that the important and good results achieved today are thanks to the tireless work of the Fund members, who have a high sense of responsibility towards society, even though many of them are old and weak. This is very valuable and worthy of respect.

According to the President, our country is entering a new stage of development with many great achievements. However, the difficulties and challenges are not small; in which, the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic are very severe for the country's economy, society as well as the lives of the people.

That context requires the continuous efforts of businesses, people and the entire political system; in which solidarity and efforts are very important.

President Vo Van Thuong affirmed that it is necessary to continue to maintain the activities of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, continuing the valuable tradition that the Fund has created; constantly supporting and providing practical help to ethnic minority students.

This is also the content that Vietnam has been recognized and highly appreciated by many countries in the world; clearly demonstrating the fine tradition of the nation, supporting each other in difficult times, leaving no one behind.

The fact that many students have been nurtured, helped and supported by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and have grown up and studied well is a commendable result, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Fund's activities. The President hopes that the students will continue to promote the results achieved, spreading the spirit and humanistic values ​​of the Fund in life...
