China is one of the largest countries in the world in terms of area, population, natural and man-made landscapes, and rich and diverse culture. Vietnam and China have many similarities in terms of history, culture, customs, natural conditions, etc. However, the starting point, steps, and methods of each country are different to suit the specific conditions and circumstances of each country and each locality. Some large cities in China with large scale and high growth rate have become major economic centers in the world (Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc.).
Most of Vietnam's urban areas are still small in scale and are just beginning to develop. Studying, learning and absorbing China's experiences in urban planning and management (especially in planning, land management, infrastructure development, housing, trees, urban environment, etc.) is necessary and useful; in order to filter and absorb knowledge, experience and good practices from other countries to apply them to specific conditions appropriately and effectively; at the same time, overcoming limitations and shortcomings in the urban development process, contributing to promoting socio-economic growth, shortening the transition period to build socialism; realizing the goal of a rich people, a strong country, a democratic - equitable - civilized society.
With the desire to be a bridge to create conditions for Vietnamese organizations, enterprises, managers, and businessmen to exchange and learn construction experiences and advanced technologies from modern urban areas and Chinese construction material factories; Visit urban tourism infrastructure and ways to manage and exploit urban infrastructure...
Vietnam Urban Development Planning Association in coordination with relevant Chinese agencies organized the program: "Exchanging experiences in urban management and construction in Beijing, China and some neighboring areas"
