IMG Phuoc Dong supports the launching ceremony of the peak donation campaign to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in Tien Giang province

On the morning of June 4, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Tien Giang province coordinated with the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) to organize the launching ceremony of the peak period of fundraising to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. The launching ceremony was held online at district and commune levels.
Attending at the provincial bridge were Mr. Vo Van Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Van Trong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang Province; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, associations, enterprises and religious organizations in the province. Representative of IMG Phuoc Dong attending the launching ceremony was Mr. Tran Huu Loi.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that in order to practically respond to the Call of the President and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on May 27, 2021 "All people unite, make efforts to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic" and have more resources with the whole country to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic with the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched and called on agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and individuals inside and outside the province; Officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, foreigners working in Tien Giang, and Tien Giang people living abroad should raise their awareness, solidarity and responsibility towards the community, strictly comply with the regulations of the Government, the health sector and localities, agencies and units in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, unite and join hands for the health of themselves and the community, make the greatest effort to keep neighborhoods and hamlets safe; communes, wards and towns safe; districts, cities and towns safe, provinces safe, contributing to keeping the whole country safe. Promoting the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and support", "sharing food and clothes" of our nation, organizations, businesses, collectives and individuals at home and abroad... continue to join hands to contribute, provide material and spiritual support to support the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic.
Focus mainly on the following contents: Funding for purchasing vaccines, ventilators and medical equipment to support quarantine areas and treatment of seriously ill patients; mobilizing frontline forces to prevent and control epidemics; supporting epidemic prevention and control work for localities with complicated outbreaks. Also at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Trong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, called on domestic and foreign enterprises, organizations and individuals to actively participate in contributing and supporting both materially and spiritually, joining hands with Party committees and authorities at all levels to overcome difficulties and defeat the epidemic. At the same time, he requested all levels, sectors and all people of Tien Giang province not to be subjective or negligent, always raise awareness and responsibility of themselves, their families and the community; thoroughly grasp the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", comply with the 5K requirements of the Ministry of Health, especially wearing masks, disinfecting, and making medical declarations; Carry out vaccination work well for frontline forces in epidemic prevention and control and people in the coming time; ensure safety standards at the highest level, contributing to the good implementation of epidemic prevention and control work and stable socio-economic development in 2021 and the following years.

Also at the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province, Mr. Tran Huu Loi, representative of IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company, presented a support amount of 50,000,000 VND to the fund to join hands with Party committees and authorities at all levels to overcome difficulties and defeat the epidemic.
