Sharing by Associate Professor, Dr., Principal Nguyen Truc Le, the theme of the 2021-2022 school year of the University of Economics, VNU Hanoi continues to be associated with "Internationalization of education towards global citizens". In addition to specialized knowledge, students also have the opportunity to choose their favorite subjects to proactively improve their life skills through international credit exchange programs with over 30 prestigious partner universities of the school in 15 countries around the world.

At the opening ceremony, the University of Economics honored 55 students with excellent achievements in the university entrance exam and the last school year. 6 new students who were top students in their majors and students with difficult circumstances who achieved excellent academic results at the school were also awarded valuable scholarships.

Chairman of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company - Mr. Le Tu Minh is always grateful to his teachers and the school that trained him. He graduated from the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 1983. In 2017, Chairman Le Tu Minh and the University of Economics established a scholarship fund for the University of Economics. In addition, in 2015, he established his own scholarship fund. Vietnamese Talent Scholarship with the content of awarding 3 prizes to the 3 best poor students of the school with the value: first prize 100 million VND (equivalent to 4,274 USD), second prize 40 million VND (equivalent to 1,713 USD), third prize 10 million VND (equivalent to 428 USD).
