On July 12, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Planning Information Center, in collaboration with MHL Investment Joint Stock Company – a member of IMG Group, held the Announcement and Award Ceremony for the International Architectural Design Competition for the land plot at 448 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Xom Chieu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
After nearly two months of launching, the competition attracted many top-tier architectural consulting firms from around the world. These were presented to the competition jury, composed of leading domestic and international experts in architecture, urban planning, and construction.
The First Prize was awarded to P&T Consultants Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Singapore) for a proposal praised for its balanced integration of aesthetic value, feasibility, sustainability, and harmony with the urban landscape. The design embodies a modern spirit while preserving cultural context, climatic considerations, and master planning principles, making a valuable contribution to the architectural identity of Ho Chi Minh City.
Following the competition, the developer — IMG and MHL — will collaborate with the winning team to proceed with detailed design development, legal documentation, and construction initiation.
