IMG Center for Orphan Talent Support and Development

The operating motto of IMG  is 'Building sustainable value for society and future generations.' From this, IMG identifies its long-term strategy as simultaneously developing effective business operations and fulfilling its responsibility to the community, especially focusing on disadvantaged and unfortunate children who require special attention. This is the reason why IMG established the IMG Huế Orphan Youth Support and Development Center, with the determination to contribute a small part in healing the emotional wounds with genuine love, helping the children grow, improve, and complete their personal and physical development to become good citizens for society in the future.

The predecessor of the IMG Center for Orphan Talent Support and Development was the IMG Huế Social Protection Facility for Children with Special Circumstances. However, due to changes in its director, headquarters, and name, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thua Thien-Hue Province reissued the center's establishment registration certificate, No. 1587/GCN-SLĐTBXH, on August 14, 2018, and its operating license, No. 1753/GP-SLĐTBXH, on August 30, 2018.

The center is built on a plot of 354 square meters within the An Cựu City project, under IMG Huế Investment Corporation, with a usable area of over 780 square meters. It has a modern 4-story architectural design with a total investment of over 1 million USD. The first floor includes the director's office, working rooms, classrooms, dining room, kitchen, and garage. The second and third floors have 14 rooms in total, with 12 being bedrooms for the children and 2 for the management staff. The fourth floor consists of a multifunctional room and an outdoor playground. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, computers, air conditioning, and other modern facilities to help the children study and improve their skills. Each bedroom houses two children, and each child has their own private study space. The center is located near a swimming pool, football field, and tennis court, allowing the children to relax after studying and fully develop physically.

At the center, the children will attend public schools in Hue City. Outside of school hours, the center will provide them with training in advanced skills and life skills, offering the best conditions for the children to develop their latent potential. They will be nurtured and supported in their education up to the postgraduate level, with opportunities to study abroad.

Currently, the center is nurturing and caring for eight orphaned children in particularly difficult circumstances. In addition to the director, there are psychological counselors and life skills trainers. The center also has a team of accountants, administrative staff, caregivers, drivers, medical staff, security personnel, and volunteers, as well as teachers and students who tutor the children in academic subjects.
