GROUND-BREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE 11,030 KWP ROOFTOP SOLAR PROJECT AT PHUOC DONG PORT–INDUSTRIAL PARK

On October 31, 2025, the 11,030 kWp Rooftop Solar Power Project at Phuoc Dong Port Industrial Park was officially launched. The project is invested by IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company – a member of IMG Group – with DAT Group serving as the EPC General Contractor, responsible for system design, equipment supply, construction, and operation.
This project marks a significant milestone in the development strategy of a green – smart industrial park, while affirming DAT Group’s capability in executing large-scale clean energy projects and IMG Phuoc Dong’s long-term commitment to sustainable transformation.

Towards a Green – Smart – High-Efficiency Industrial Park
Phuoc Dong Port–Industrial Park, inaugurated in 2021 and located in Tay Ninh Province, is master-planned following a modern model and strategically positioned with direct connections to both road and waterway networks. It serves as an important manufacturing and logistics center within the regional supply chain.
Along with the rapid growth of the industrial ecosystem, the need for stable, sustainable, and cost-efficient energy has become essential. As a result, IMG Phuoc Dong is oriented toward developing a green, smart, and environmentally friendly industrial park, gradually moving toward eco-industrial park standards as recommended by UNIDO.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Phan Trung – Deputy General Director of IMG Phuoc Dong emphasized:

This project is implemented at a time when Vietnam is accelerating its National Renewable Energy Strategy. As General Secretary To Lam once affirmed:

With a total capacity of over 11,030 kWp, the rooftop solar system at IMG Phuoc Dong utilizes JA Solar panels and Huawei inverters - world-class brands known for superior performance, durability, and safety.
Expected outcomes upon project completion:

Annual electricity output: ~16,500 MWh

CO₂ emissions reduction: ~11,000 tons/year

Equivalent to: planting more than 500,000 new trees
